Hi, I'm Kym. I am a wife and a mother (in many different ways; to a very active one-year old boy, to a not-so-active 140lb Bernese Mountain Dog, and step-mom to three wonderful boys). I graduated from Washington State University and then entered corporate America where I found my niche solving highly complex cross-functional process and systems breakdowns. I simply love analyzing things and creating efficiencies.
Outside of my professional life, I volunteer with an organization called Preemie Prints. Through Preemie Prints I provide the gift of NICU and NICU Graduate photography for parents. Preemie Prints is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization supporting and sharing hope with families who have a baby born prematurely or critically ill.
So why photography? Photography provides a creative outlet from an otherwise very structured and analytic mindset. More than that, Photography allows me to capture a moment in time and freeze it. That photograph then becomes a porthole to revisit that time and place in your life anytime you like. After all, what is more precious than time?
